Wellness in Africa is a part of daily life. It is infused in the routines we keep, the foods we consume and the spirit we carry with us. theBRIDGE is bringing just a taste of this wellness to our cousins in the U.S. by offering pure cold-pressed organic oils, authentic African Net Sponges, organic flowers and herbs, and vibrant Ankara print accessories. Pure Cold-pressed Organic Oils
Baobab and moringa are superfoods that have been used in Africa for ages but that are only now being discovered in the United States.
Flowers and Herbs
We use a variety of flowers and herbs in daily cuisine, drinks and medicine. One of these is the hibiscus flower, which is a staple in the diets of various ethnic groups in the Senegambia region of West Africa. It is used to make tea, in cooking as a chutney and can even be used in a tincture for hair and nails.
Personal Care

Our Founder
Maguette conceptualized theBRIDGE when she was a young adult living in Harlem, NY. Growing up in Little Senegal, she was reminded of her culture on a regular basis. She indulged in delicious African cuisine, celebrated her rich Senegalese and Guinean traditions, and spoke her mother tongue on a regular basis. Her American friends frequently questioned her about her African heritage, wanting to get a better understanding of where she came from. Some even requested she personally take them to Africa one day. Thus, the seed for theBRIDGE was planted!
theBRIDGEtoC, LLC was formed in 2023 with the goal of introducing as many African-Americans to Africa as possible. theBRIDGE aims to meet these goals by curating group trips to various African countries; by sharing African stories and perspectives using various mediums; by providing access of finely crafted artisanal goods and art to our clients in America; and, by sharing some of the indigenous and ancient knowledge housed by the thousands of tribes across the African continent.

Travel - We offer group tours which allow people to meet like-minded individuals and bond while sharing the unique experiences we plan. We work closely with our clients to create personalized travel experiences that cater to their unique needs and interests. We handle all the details so our clients can relax and enjoy their travels.
Relocation - We also offer solo trip and relocation consultations and services. These are ideal for individuals who have already visited their African destination, and are seeking specialized guidance for their return. Reach out for more details on how theBRIDGE can help you.
A Piece of Africa - Our virtual marketplace was created to provide our guests the experience of an African market, without the back and forth bargaining. Visit our shop for authentic handmade items such as tote bags, jewelry, travel accessories and our wellness items to improve your quality of life. Our wellness brand, Wér, currently includes the highly desired African Net Sponge, our cold-pressed, organic Senegambian Baobab Oil and Moringa Oil.
